Onam Travels to STARTRADER
On Onam day, the office looked different. Had our office travelled to a different location and transferred all of us? That’s what we asked when we saw the colourful clothes and colourful food around us. But the fact is—a piece of India visited our desks on Onam day. Of courses, it is no wonder as it is that touch of love, unity, and colourful diversity that has helped the company grow over the years! Let us dive deeper into that day.
An Invitation to a Festive Story
This event was not just an invitation to savor the yummy meal coming from the land of legend—the land of India—it was an invitation to a story. It gave the STARTRADER team the chance to understand this cultural event on a deeper level, explaining its roots, significance, and the joy that surrounds it in every home.
The Onam Sadhya was lovingly arranged and generously shared. The banana leaves were filled with an incredible variety of dishes, each with its own flavor.
A Story Came to Life with the Traditional Attire
The STARTRADER team from different regions of the world came dressed in traditional Indian attire. What better expression of unity than this? The team showed that they care to participate in each other’s cultural traditions, not only with good wishes, but with genuine effort and presence. Sarees, kurtas, and smiles were everywhere, reminding us how powerful it is to step into each other’s worlds, even if just for a day.
More than a Workplace
The Onam celebration reminded us why STARTRADER is more than just a workplace. It’s a space where people are encouraged to bring their whole selves, including their cultures, stories, and heritage.
